I picked it up for £4.95 from Judd Books in London, but it's cheap on Amazon, so long as you don't buy from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Romes-Last-Ci...
But the hardback is cheaper than the Kindle!

I enjoyed it. The author tells the story well and leads the reader through the period of the fall of the Roman Republic with Caesar and Pompey preparing to tear the world apart.

Good read and very definitely good for the general reader. Finishes off with a nice chapter on Cato since his death which is also interesting

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 9082 comments I thought Cato was the mortal enemy of Inspector Clouseau?
