Lola having two gay dads.. id like to hear your thoughts about homosexuality

I thought it was perfect for Lola's character, her back story and for the setting.

I loved that Lola had to gay dads, you don't see that a lot in YA books so it was refreshing and great to read!

Yep, same. It really doesn't matter, though, it's not that big of a difference.

I loved not only that it was in the books, but Stephanie didn't have to make a huge deal of it. It was just a simple, "I have two dads." and then on with the story. I loved it. When authors have a diverse cast, but then have to make a huge deal about it, (Did I mention my best friend is BLACK? She's black. Oh yeah, my friend? She's black) it sort of loses the meaning.

I absolutely loved this. Incorporating a homosexual relationship (as well as parenting) showed real diversity. When a book is in the Y/A Genre, i think its very important to lace these things through good, well written stories.
Stephanie Perkins knows whats up ;)
Top notch.
