Andrew (andrew619) | 153 comments I'm finished the first chapters of the book. It's a story for every ages and full of historical and geographical infos. I like these british characters, like Fogg, so serious and mysterious, who was accompanied by Passepartout, a more simple person.

I'm really glad you're liking it :)

I don't know how to say this but I'm just can't read more that 2 pages of Verne's writing after reading (actually DNF'ing) Journey To The Centre Of The Earth!
I don't like his writing style... Not for me!

Sorry Andrew... I'm DNF'ing this one, though I hope you enjoy it :)

Andrew (andrew619) | 153 comments I'm sorry to hear it. I find this style fluent and full of charming, also if I think that his books have a different impact if you read them when you are a teenager.
I hope we can read something else in future.

Just popping in to say that Jules Verne was born on this date in 1828. A birthday celebration for Mr. Verne.

Andrew (andrew619) | 153 comments Thank for the information. I didn't know the date, it's a good thing remember this great author.

Yea, I agree! I'll try to read his books after a year though! No harm in trying again :)

Yea, sure! Maybe a Stephen King book next month... :D
