We have 3 of those here at the house. They look interesting.

Melodie (melodieco) | 5280 comments I loved The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough The Thorn Birds. It's one of the books that got me back into reading again back in 1978. Great read and loved the TV mini-series, too!

Can't remember if I read the book, but loved the mini-series back in the day.

Thanks for posting this, Dotty. I'm surprised I did not hear about this in the news over the weekend, seeing as she was an internationally known author. I recently picked up The Ladies of Missalonghi, and now feel I need to move that up higher in Mount TBR.
