The main character, Lady Ann Audley, is based on the character Lady d' Winter from Alexander Dumas's 'The Three Musketeers.' (This is her story) Toward the end of the book, she changes her name. This is the first book in a series of five.

First of all, I lived in Australia for around 3 years and loved every moment of it: it's a beautiful country and the people are so friendly. I write horror fiction. You didn't mention horror in your list of genres you like to review but I hope it was only an oversight! My supernatural novel 'The Lady in Red' is a book which is set in the south east of England and opens in the 1830s where two bodysnatchers are discussing their line of work. They decide to resort to murder as they find bodies are 'thin on the ground.' One of these bodysnatchers comes back in the modern day as a ghost to create more havoc. There is then a battle between good and evil which runs throughout the rest of the book.
