The Folk of the Air by Holly BlackThe Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo
The Lunar Chronicles by Marrisa Meyer
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Mass
Harry Potter by JK Rowling
Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
Those were fantasy. For mystery you can try One of Us Is Lying, One of Us is Next, Two Can Keep A Secret and The Cousins. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is great too.
For romance: The Fault in Our Stars, Five Feet Apart, Tweet Cute, If I Stay, They Both Die at the End, Heartstopper & Red, White and Royal Blue are good options to start with.
don't forget to occasionally catch up with the classics! you may start with Jane Austen's novels and then give a shot to other classic authors :)
If your starting maybe some short reads a will be good. We Have Always Lived in the Castle and The Lottery by Shirley Jackson.
I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream by Harlan Ellison.
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.
Beloved by Toni Morrison.
The Burning Plain and Other Stories by Juan Rulfo.
The Popol Vuh
The Maze RunnerHunger Games
Divergent trilogy
Camp Half Blood series
Red Queen
Shatter Me
The Host by Stephanie Meyer
Lord Of The Rings
Shadowhunters chronicles
Perks Of Being A Wallflower
also if you wanted some good coming of age books with a sense of humor i'd reccommend Kick Me: Adventures in Adolescence by paul feig and Bad Haircut: Stories of the Seventies by tom perrotta

If you are still looking, here are a few more recommendations:
Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton (first in a trilogy, but can stand alone)
Renegades by Marissa Meyer (first in a trilogy)
The Hobbit, or There and Back Again by J.R.R. Tolkien (classic)
The Prisoner of Cell 25 by Richard Paul Evans (first in a series)
I have a daughter who is an adrenaline junkie. She's big on fast-paced action and humor in her books. All of the above have elements of fantasy, lots of adventure, and a touch of romance. (Well, The Hobbit may not have much romance.) If you like these, here are the first books for a few other series she enjoyed, but I have not read:
The Dragonet Prophecy by Tui T. Sutherland
The Ruins of Gorlan by John Flanagan
Slathbog's Gold by M.L. Forman
