Helen | 4238 comments Started B. Keen now I've remembered I'm on a challenge. Plus big book coming up so want to inflate my book count!

Helen | 4238 comments When linking Beauty, you get four pages of books before any feature the word beauty. All of the Hunger Games and Harry Potter came up first.

Helen | 4238 comments Being off with a cold does wonders for a challenge. I also, finally reloaded all the books on my kindle after its reset.

And it crashed last night and today!

message 13: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments Yay, found a short A on my kindle. Off to bed, mind finding it easier to breathe so might get to sleep rather than stay up reading tonight.

message 14: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments On p.

message 15: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments Enjoying Tracks, although I don't like the casual mistreatment of wild camels.

message 16: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments Another one that has started out bobbins, Lure

Leni Iversen (leniverse) | 355 comments If you want tips for your missing letters, there's Coraline, and Stardust by Neil Gaiman, and several of Terry Pratchett's Discworld books have one word titles (though you have covered a lot of those letters already): Jingo, Snuff Sourcery

Kelley Armstrong also has a fair few one word titles, if you like paranormal romance.

message 28: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments Thanks, I don't have anything for Q X Y Z, surprisingly.

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

How about Zorro for Z?

message 30: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments Good thinking.

message 31: by Leni (new)

Leni Iversen (leniverse) | 355 comments There are a few books that are simply called "Q", if that counts. I haven't read any of them, but this one looks interesting: Q

message 38: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments Done X S G and starting C tomorrow, busy day.

message 39: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments Reading an R in February with another group. That leaves 6, 3 I don't have books for.

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

I set up a list of one word titles to make it easier for me to search for ideas - there's about 20-30 for each letter (I had a lot of time on my hands the last couple of days!). You might be able to find something that appeals to you on there - feel free to add any books that I might have missed.

List here

message 41: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments I've read loads over the years but they seem to follow the same letters!

message 42: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments Y done

message 43: by Helen (new)

message 45: by Helen (new)

Helen | 4238 comments A year on and I'm still reading letters.

Kate | 1332 comments Mod
Both my One word challenges have taken me about 18 months.
I've got two left: X which I have Xan lined up for (looks horrific) and Y which I haven't found yet.
With all those repeats you'll have done it at least 3 times over by the time you finish!!!
