J.R.R. Tolkien was born in South Africa so i nominate 2 of his books:
* The Hobbit Or There and Back Again
* The Fellowship of the Ring
* The Hobbit Or There and Back Again
* The Fellowship of the Ring
I don't know if this counts...I'm just finishing Barbara Kingsolver's "The Poisonwood Bible" & loving it! It takes place in Africa during the struggle for Congolese independence. Author is American though. Anyway....if it counts I recommend it for November. If not, I just recommend it! Haha ;-)
Hi Lu - how about this book: Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight: An African Childhood by Alexandra Fuller
Moxyland! Fellowship of the Ring! Moxyland! Fellowship of the Ring! Moxyland! Fellowship of the Ring!*sighs* I can't decide :)
Jade and the Serpent's Circle is a book set in the Cradle of Humankind and written by a South African author, Maggie Fikkert.
