many non-books to mark as "not a book"

This is a big one. And I'm not a librarian yet. I understand that books contain words or at least pictures or diagrams or information or artistry of some sort. These "books" seemingly contain nothing more than a large number of sheets of lined paper or matrices of dots, sandwiched between two flimsy covers. Unfortunately, they number in the thousands. The criteria for "not a book" include
* stationery
* diaries and blank books (unless containing additional content)
These descriptions of "not a book" seemingly match the results in the following searches:

They actually need to be NAB'd (marked as non-book items), rather than deleted. Otherwise they will just re-import again.

Sometimes when there are several edits, it takes the search function a while to catch up. An hour ago there were over 70,000 titles listed. I doubt they have been completed since then.

That's weird, I still get 0 results for link six. I did wonder about it, since there were a lot of books in it. Link four shows about 9,600 results.

Link 6 is to page 99 of the search results. You can manually change the page number in the URL (anywhere between 1 and 100). I randomly checked page 60 and page 70 and both have 1 book listed.

Thank you for the tip, Arenda! I hadn't realized that the link was to one page only, as the other ones were for the whole search result.

I attempted to correct the sixth and final link, but it now only lists two non-books per page. I cannot explain this behavior. Nevertheless, examination of a selection shows only stationery, not legitimate books.

I've been working on both links 4 and 6 every day, but there are thousands of items. To my knowlegde there is no way to mass NAB the search result, they have to be worked on one publisher at a time.

There is not. And more are added daily.

As the site is heavily cached it takes a while for the search to catch up. I usually start about page 95 or so and work down, but even then it doesn't always work.

I suspect that this one needs to be NAB. It looks like just a lined notebook without content to me. Can anyone else verify or offer an opinion?

I've been working on these intermittently, but they never end.
One question: why is it that some book edit pages don't show the option of Mark as "not a book", even if the "book" doesn't have any adds? I get it that as I'm not a superlibrarian, I cannot NAB those items that have adds, but there are many without any adds as well. Here are a few examples:

I think you can still NAB the book just not the easy way. But I'm not sure what to do when you don't have a book to merge it in...

Yes, that's what I'm unsure of.

Luckily, most of these "authors" only have empty notebooks, so it's possible to NAb the whole author. But then there are some with one or two pesky coloring books among 50+ notebooks. Aaargh!

BTW, the link in the article about NABbing in item 1. b ("Follow the instructions for merging two identical editions...) is wrong, it actually leads to the info about combining, not merging.

Most merges start with a combine.
