i’m just getting back into reading so i haven’t got many books or authors in my radar yet but ive re-read the hunger games series countless times n been emotionally invested everytime so .. as basic as it is im gonna go w that. i’ll be taking any other answers as recommendations :D
i love the hunger games too!! one of my newer favorites is the seven husbands of evelyn hugo, it’s SO GOOD
i loooovee the hunger games!! catching fire is my fav book to movie adaptation bc it was just so beautifully done:)
I think I love this series so much because I read it when I was really young? so now it’s kinda just like a comfort thing I always go back to:)) I <3 the selection books by kiera cass and am so excited for the movie coming!!
some of my fave books include the hunger games series, the medoran chronicles & the seven husbands of evelyn hugo!!
anything by sarah dessen!!!! i used to read her books in middle school and i am still just as obsessed with her writing <3
I'm a big Sci-Fi / Fantasy person. Some of my favourite books (to name a few) are:- The Starless Sea (Erin Morgenstern)
- The Night Circus (Erin Morgenstern)
- Middlegame (Seanan McGuire)
- Piranesi (Susanna Clarke)
- The Priory of the Orange Tree (Samantha Shannon)
One thing I plan to work towards this year is to read a wider range of books & discover diverse reads, so I'm always down for some book recommendations <3
i loveeee the hunger games series sm!! other honorable mentions include the perks of being a wallflower, looking for alaska, and normal people :-)
ooo I’ve heard good things about normal people!! have you seen the show yet? I wanna start it but not sure if I should read the book beforehand
my all-time favorite is probably the road by cormac mccarthy. favorite book i read in 2020 was educated by tara westover
yes the show is so good @auzene!! i definitely recommend reading the book first but it does an amazing job of bringing it to life, warning though it’s gonna hurt your feelings a LOT
My fave author is probably Oliver Sacks (i’m a science nerd) and I have no idea what my favorite book is. I’m so bad at deciding that! there’s too many good ones! I really enjoyed Slavery By Another Name which i just finished. Very eye opening and informative!
my all time favorite book is the hunger games probably 😌 it’s just so perfect in my eyes and has held up for over more than a decade. I never get tired of the whole series.
i just bought normal people & the seven husbands of evelyn hugo since so many of you guys love them !!
