PattyMacDotComma | 3340 comments I was pleased to see Mary Anning added to the Little People BIG DREAMS series by Mª Isabel Sánchez Vegara. All kids love collecting things, so they'd enjoy seeing how this little girl grew up finding fossils and becoming famous.

Always good to see science stuff introduced to kids at an early age. Make it fun! Knitting could be taught as a binary algorithm; knit one, pearl one or it can just be taught as practical good fun. My mum was a great mathematician without knowing it.

I couldn't agree more, Andy. I always say that a teacher's job (or any adult's job) is to keep curiosity alive and show kids where and how to find information.
