The Missing and the Dead by Stuart MacBride, #9 in his gritty and darkly humorous Logan MacRae crime series.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Here's my review of Liane Moriarty's latest, Apples Never Fall - a return to her domestic drama roots after 2018's rather divisive Nine Perfect Strangers. This one falls squarely into the domestic mystery-thriller-intrigue genre.

The Rowland Sinclair historical mystery series is terrific. He and friends travel around the world "between the wars" (WWI & WWII), chasing Nazis, dodging gangsters, mixing with the rich and famous (which Rowly is himself). Cameos: JFK, Errol Flyyn, F. Scott Fitzgerald among others.

I'm in a cozy mystery phase of reading, and have been working my way through the Miss Fortune mysteries. Just finished
and started
. I haven't done written reviews as the series would all have the same, I've just posted stars! So 5 stars for all so far, and they are funny, warm, and cosy!
