They were more helpful than Kim would like to admit. She wants to be in control, but the consultants have their own bosses and their own agendas. Matt and Kim have very similar personalities, so they can understand a lot about each other. I'm hoping this isn't the last we see of Matt.
Alison and Matt brought different skills to the table. One soft and one more exacting. I thought it was great how Kim and Matt played off each other. I sensed an enemies to lovers vibe straight away.. so I wasn't surprised when Matt proposed the date.. and Kim accepted.
Kim would need a partner who wasn't overly sensitive and was intelligent and quick or she would be bored. I hope we see more of Matt.
Kim didn't believe that a profiler could help at all. Alison used her knowledge to help them look for the perpetrator. I don't know if Kim wanted to be the negotiator on the case. She seemed to accept what Matt was doing. I like how Kim and Matt were striking sparks off of each other.
Matt was so like Kim they could have been mirror images. It gave her pause to see herself in him. I think they’re too much alike for this to go anywhere. She needs a yin to her yang.
I felt like Allison helped the team quite a bit and Kim’s perception of profiling may have altered. We will see.
