Kim realized that Eloise, the psychic, was the real deal. Why does she become her visitor at her hospital bedside? What does this tell you about how this case impacted her?

Lynn (ftbooklover) I don't think she wants to believe that she is the real thing, but she does feel guilty for not listening to her because of her prejudices. As Matt kept saying, Kim was emotionally involved, even if she didn't want to be.

I’ve pondered why Kim felt compelled to visit this woman in the hospital and came to the conclusion that she recognized that Eloise had no one and was going to be the one that stood for her. She was not going to let this woman languish with no one caring about her well being. She’d been there.

Brenda ~The Sisters~Book Witch I think this was a way for Kim to become a warmer character as we see her start to warm up to people. I think that Kim learned a lot about herself here by the dynamics between the other characters. I agree Jonetta, I think Kim is starting to think about being alone after what happened in the story.
