Michelle (couchnest) I am reading DMD Stories right now, too. I haven't read the DMD book yet so I figured I'd start with the prequels. So far, I am enjoying it although I did find one consistency error. Is it just me, or does D. come across as kind of bratty/selfish. It's like she doesn't want to be and self-corrects herself when she has selfish attitudes, and she TRIES to do what is right and "good" and expected of her, but at her heart of heart, her attitude kind of reminds me of a spoiled child who thinks she deserves better and is better. I don't want to say too much or give examples because I don't want to spoil it for anyone else, but her treatment of her Aunt and Uncle at times is pretty rude. Of course, since the premise is that she becomes evil, I suppose it makes sense... the question is, how much "evil" is she before this all happens?
