What are your top 10 favorite anime series?

1) Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan (I can't choose)
2) Beelzebub
3) Bleach, Soul Eater
4) Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama
5) Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei

1. Cowboy Bebop
2. God Gundam
3. Robotech
4. Case Closed
5. The Mysterious Cities of Gold
6. Samurai Champloo

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head. You’ll have to forgive me; I haven’t watched anime in such a long time. The last time I did was Full Metal Alchemist in 2007. And then I went to college and didn’t have access to a TV of my own. You Tube wasn’t as expansive as it is today, so that would have been out of the question.

3. Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (I liked Brotherhood a little better though)

5. Barakamon
6. Noragami
7. Kuroko no Basuke (it's safe to assume that I like sports anime; don't ask why since I can barely watch a professional sports game without getting bored--playoffs as exceptions)
8. Baccano and Durarara

I did finaly buy Shangra La so I am sure it will go on here too, I am still trying to get thru Appleseed 13, so I will watch it after that. Appleseed 13's Deunan... OMG what did they do to her????

Yeah, I know how you feel! According to my myanimelist.net profile, I've watched 593.52 hours of anime just since June 2014 (and that's not counting hours spent rewatching a show, since you can log the # of times you rewatched a show but it only counts the first viewing towards hours spent), so it's a little hard for me to decide! ;-P

I don't even want to think about how many hours I've spent watching anime in my life. If I knew the actual number, my jaw would detach itself and hit the floor.

I haven't been lucky enough to watch anime for very long. I had no clue what it was, or how varied, until last year, though I had seen some as a kid (just didn't know it at the time). I'm kinda jealous of people who have literally watched thousands of hours of anime, and for more years than me :)

My first anime was Outlaw Star on Toonami in the 90s. I fell in love instantly but had little access to anime that wasn't already Americanized. It wasn't until 2002 that I really got into it with Inuyasha. I was watching that series the day after it came out in Japan for a while. The obsession began.

I've never had cable/satelite, so I only saw things like Pokemon and Digimon growing up, but I got Netflix last year, and a Funimation subscription, as well, this year. I've had internet access at home for years now, but just never got around to getting streaming services until recently. I'm always late to the party! ; -P

Serial Experiments Lain was good! I haven't finished the second season of Spice and Wolf but I enjoyed the first season.
