Ryan Dash (ryandash) | 171 comments A title it almost certainly doesn't deserve, unfortunately. Paolini's fame and prestige from having written the Eragon series is the only reason this book was nominated, let alone win. It's not nearly as well-regarded as other SF books this year. That's not to say it was bad, just not in the highest echelon.

I found the book really naive to be honest. Battle after battle, what else is there?
