Ed Morawski You've all seen the movie where a cop's boss chastises him for excessive violence? Well Wolinski isn't that story. In fact Wolinski's boss is the Mayor, who uses him as a blunt instrument to tamp down crime in the city. The End Justifies the Means is the code Wolinski has followed for over a decade as he works in the shadows between law enforcement and vigilante. The city powers all look the other way while Wolinski cleans up crime by outright executing the evil doers. And there is a never ending supply from across the bridge to the neighboring lawless state. As the story unfolds the years and crimes have taken their toll on Wolinski, he drinks too much, smokes too much, and closes himself off emotionally by engaging only with prostitutes. Then when the Mayor dies mysteriously, the vigilante cop is put out to pasture as fast as supposedly saner heads can manage.

When the city suddenly becomes the hunting ground for a vicious serial killer, who has some rather unique appetites, the politicians realize Wolinski is the only one who can clean up the mess. Wolinski is the hunter that can take down this predator. But quickly Wolinski finds himself out on the weakest of limbs with no one to trust because of his shady past acts, boxed in on all sides by his own police, the Mayor, the FBI, and even the Mob who watch his every move.
Wolinski is a non-stop thrill ride for adults only.
