You have to be signed in with the email you used to claim the author account, rather than your regular user account.
Author account? Regular user account? I really don't understand. I signed into Goodreads wkith my regular email and I just don't know what you mean by "sign in with the email you used to claim the author account." What do you mean "Claim?"Please clarify.
"Claimed" means you have registered as a "Goodreads Author" (note the badge at the top of the author profile.)You are now posting from your user account (Christian) which must have a different sign-in from the author account (Gopee). You need to sign out and then sign in with the email address and password you used to claim the Gopee account.
I seem to have forgotten the email and password to sign in to my author account. (Gopee Galaata account). What now, Scott?
If there's no password recovery option, you'll have to contact support.
I just did. Why does Goodreads complicate life?? Why have a user account and a different sign-in for an author account? This is so unnecessary and frustrating.

Since you have two names, you have to have two accounts to access both of them.

I am unable to edit my author page (is that what it is? I mean, what is the difference between a Goodreads account, a user profile and an author page? And why can't I edit the above and make changes? I hardly ever get on Goodreads, and am confused about many things. Please bear with me. I am a novice at Goodreads. I have many questions coming up.
