How are you liking Cryptonomicon? That one has been on my shelf for a long time.

Thanks Cassandra.
I try and read a variety, but there are definite favorite genres. My older son and I read the entire Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings...more fantasy I guess.
My 11 year old and I just finished both Percy Jackson series, and are now reading the Hobbit, but have read a little more varied stuff, like a couple Wendy Mass books, Bud Not Buddy, 39 clues series. It's a lot of fun...and it helps me get a fix for my previous life's theater training.
So far, Cryptonomicon is good...already dense, so it's slow getting into (a bit). I read Snow Crash last year and really dug it, so wanted to give this a shot. I have a love/hate relationship with huge books. Love them, but hate how tricky it can be to stay on top of getting through it before getting distracted. Currently trying to listen to the audio book, and pick up with the physical copy when I can't to hopefully "plow" through it.

Between reading for myself, and reading to my son(s), I hope that I can hit the century mark this year.
Wish me luck, and feel free to chat, comment, suggest books, etc. A book, like a good meal, is great, but better when shared.
