First of all, I blame whoever prepared the list of Thanksgiving mysteries for including this one. It is not remotely like Thanksgiving and very little to do with turkeys.

It also has very little to do with a murder, at least so far. I am out of this second section already.

If you like the Cat Who books, it is interesting to keep updated on the characters and such, but otherwise, not much of a mystery. So far, at least.

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments I hate when that happens!! I found the same thing to be true with the book Overkilt by Kaitlyn Dunnet. The cover has a whole Thanksgiving scene but they only talk about Thanksgiving in the last chapter!

Well, I'm just out of this second section and at least they are talking about turkeys!

I do enjoy the Chat Who mysteries and have read most of them. I admit, though, that there is not a whole lot of mystery in them, at least given what we are used to.

I agree, NicoleG. Why do they do that?? Feel it's a plus to mislead the fans. Arrgh!

I blame the person who made the book list. Clearly they weren't familiar with the book.

Nicole (nicolevickers) | 1814 comments I'm on chapter 8 right now, not a lot of turkey talk!

I haven't read the synop but that might have given list maker a clue.

Tina, my guess is that he/she saw the word "turkey" and assumed thanksgiving.

Moving along with story. Not too much mystery at this point (pg. 101) but still a sweet read. What a minute...a murder is mentioned on this page. The plot might be thickening!
