29% (view spoiler)[So far this seems a little confusing/complex to my addled brain and not as attention grabbing as I’d hoped. I like that the heroine is in her thirties maybe even forties. So far all I got was she’s a bone connoisseur of sorts and uses bones to make things work and even control or bring back the dead. Now her husbands bodies gone, kinda hope she finds him but eww can we focus on the fact that she revives his corpse and has sex with him. Hard limit lady lol (hide spoiler)]

Worse yet I was so mad at the Bone Guild’s ignorance it did not help that these guys still came and saved the day yet ran away without so much as an apology. So many people needlessly died all because these guys wanted longer life for themselves and their families 🤦🏽‍♀️ And we don’t really get a decent end in my opinion, everything just gets wrapped up and that’s it. I dunno I like the concept of all these special people with Bone abilities but the story just wasn’t all that thrilling in my opinion. Not to mention it was almost too predictable. I also wish the author developed the world and setting more. (hide spoiler)]

I totally agree with your thoughts Crystal and couldn't have said it better. I was intrigued in the beginning and kept hoping but it just didn't do it for me
