Claire Kent | 4 comments I have a book coming out this week that's a revision of an 2007 book I had published under an old penname. I got the rights back and the book has been revised and now has a new blurb, cover, penname, etc. I put it up yesterday, and it's now linked to the old version. I understand if that's a policy (to always link to old versions of books, no matter how much they've changed), but the problem is that no one looking for my book now can find it, since when they do a search all they see is the old book with the tacky cover and a penname they've never heard of. Is there some way to make it so that when someone searches, the new cover and the book's current author name comes up rather than the old version/penname. Otherwise, no one will be able to find the book to leave a review.

The book is here:

Thanks for any help that can be provided!

You can set the new edition as the default by following the steps here:

It is policy to link the old edition with the new edition.

You have 2 options:

1. Claim the old pen name (you'll need a second email address). Once you have that profile claimed you can set the new edition as the default:

2. Email staff ( and have them set the new edition as the default.

Unfortunately only only the primary author or staff can set the default edition, so librarians can't help with that.
