Thanks! I tend to be over-ambitious about these things.

Book One Review:

Murder at the Kinnen Hotel: A Powder Mage Novella by Brian McClellan (* * * *)

Is a novella cheating? I hope not, because I have a special passion for them. I like a lot of story crammed into a small word count, and this fantasy-mystery-thriller did just that. Excellent world-building to boot!

Book Two Review:

The Ultimate Harry Potter and Philosophy: Hogwarts for Muggles

An intriguing and fun range of philosophical essays based on questions raised by the Harry Potter series. I found myself arguing with some of the conclusions--but that's the point, right?
