I knew I read the first book and went to read my review and saw I wrote " rtc", which I must have forgot to do! Ugh! It was a library book but I did rate it and remember some. I put a hold on this book and it said about 3 weeks wait. I am glad they had it! I may be late but at least I will have a chance to read it! Excited! I will remember to review this book! 😁

Chapter 8 - (view spoiler)[Poor Thomas!! He ate the ginger snaps!! 🙈 That was so creepy finding out his aunt was dead all that time.
I hope Cas isn't going mad, but it's so weird that Anna can't communicate with him and the others can't see her. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 11 - (view spoiler)[Anna being in hell sucks! :/ Especially stuck with that horrific creature! Though Carmel and Thomas have a point that she did kill a lot of people, makes sense if you believe in that sort of stuff. Cas is totally blinded to it, he is right though that it was her curse, she would never have chose to kill people. I'm worried about them opening a gate to hell. Bad idea! I've watched Supernatural, this isn't my first rodeo! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13 - (view spoiler)[Awww! I kinda don't blame Carmel making the decision to get out of the crazy shit. She's not tied to it. Who would do it voluntarily?! But poor Thomas, she's breaking his little heart. :( And Cas seems sad too.

One minute she doesn't want to be involved anymore, the next of course she can't stand they've gone to London without her.
I don't trust Jestine at all. But I'm also not trusting Gideon... He's not being very forthcoming at all which is so annoying!! :/ (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 22 - (view spoiler)[ What a horrific test that was!! Those corpses getting closer and closer to them, and biting them!! 😱 Gideon just standing there waiting at the end... Nice.
As far as I'm aware there's not a suicide forest in Scotland thank god, but there is in Japan. So very sad and creepy. (hide spoiler)]

@Siobhan 12 chapters on (view spoiler)[ Anna being in hell realy does suck! She didn't kill those people, the curse did it, I don't think she belongs there.

Carmel is being a huge bitch. Breaking Thomas' heart like that and humiliating him publicly is not cool. At all. If she didn't want to bewith him or part of the junior ghostbusters anymore she should have told him, privately.

Cas opening a door to hell is definitely a bad idea! (hide spoiler)]

Finished! (view spoiler)[ I really liked this, but didn't feel as strongly about it as I did with book 1. Maybe because it was more predictable? Whereas in Anna Dressed in Blood it was like a gut punch when we heard that noise in the attack and the cat was murdered etc.
I never connected with Jestine as a new character.
And I don't think we got the best of Anna.
But I still enjoyed Cas, Thomas and Carmel together and I'm glad Cas let Anna go in the end. Hopefully she'll be happier now finally. (hide spoiler)]

I agree with all of this!

I didn't enjoy our at much at book 1. There wasn't enough Anna and I didn't like Jestine at all.

The ending wasn't what I wanted but I do think it was the best thing that could have happened. CAS did the right thing.
