SOLVED. What is the name of this book

Look for a scottish highlander time travel book. It about a women who works on a archaeologist site at a castle on a island /isle and either falls and ends up time traveling she wakes up on a beach.this is a series where in later book the ex boy friend or friend is a desendent of the people she travel to and later he travels back too. Cant find this series anywhere any help id be greatful.
I think the laird she marries either has a daughter or a son.
