William Hartman | 22 comments With I hope the indulgence of Andres I am starting a thread to create a place for those writing in Urban Fantasy. I am not sure how we will be able to post re-writes and updates to our work as I am still a bit new to using 'Goodreads' this way but I do hope to learn and share what I do learn here with those having similar interest in this genre.

For the uninitiated Merriam-Webster defines 'Urban Fantasy' as: "A genre of imaginative fiction featuring supernatural characters or elements in an urban setting."

Here I hope (if I did this right) is the link to my first chapter if anyone would like to review it. I will of course return the favor for yours and we will go on with subsequent chapters as we learn while we go. If we are in agreement here it finally is: https://www.coursera.org/learn/write-...

William Hartman | 22 comments Thank you Aliana, I did miss that! :) This is the first draft I did of the first chapter. I've done quite a bit to it since but the bones of it haven't really changed. Sadly, I've not figured out how to update it... if that's even possible. ;)

Segun Hi Bill,
I just reviewed chapter 1 of your work on Coursera.

Andres Rodriguez (aroddamonster) | 585 comments @Bill In order to update your chapter you need to install the app, delete your post (with reviews) re-submit your post.

Honestly its not worth the effort or time to update it on Coursera. Once you make your edits do not resubmit them. You will come to a round table review week where you are supposed to have friends read through your work and speak your dialog. During that week I would recommend swapping work with another GODS member. At that point they can read through your changes.

Hi Aliana, do you have a link? I seem to be hit or miss finding people's work when I want to review them.
