Sofia (sofloaf) What are your thoughts?
I tried to read City of Bones, but it was so cliche and cheesy, so I gave up. Not to mention my ardent hatred of Clary.

Sofia (sofloaf) Same here.

Sofia (sofloaf) I didn't like it at all. It was just a bunch of cliches gathered up and mixed together.

Lilly S I thought it was fine, but it wasn't good

Joyce | 2030 comments this book was sooo hyped! and it has a huge fandom xD

I only read the first one...and I just never picked up the rest...
I thought it was fine. Like it has potential but I didn't see what all the fuss was about..

Ashi The series was okay, but it isn't Clare's best work. It pales in comparison with TID and TDA

☀︎El In Oz☀︎ (elinoz) It’s really good! Yes it’s not Cassie’s best work (these were her first books y’all) but they give such a good foundation to the world and some classic characters that I simply can’t help but love and find comfort in any shadowhunter book! I think the last three are better than the first three but overall the foreshadowing for other series and other small things makes these books soooo good. I much prefer TID and TLH (I find TDA to be on the same level as the final three TMI books in terms of how much I like them. Expect for Lady Midnight which I adore and is up very high).

She wrote a Ron x Ginny fanfiction?
What?!

message 16: by Tris (new)

Tris | 349 comments okay I googled it as well and though I couldn't find the fanfic (which is okay since I never want to read incest), according to many people she did write a fanfic called The mortal instruments about Ron and Ginny in a romantic relation. Now I didn't care much about the Clace thing in TMI at the time I read it since I knew it all along that they weren't related (I intentionally soiled myself after City of Bones because I could not read City of Ashes had they actually been siblings) but this is concerning!!
