I guess I learned to live with being different from the community around me... I deal with it almost every day so, I get used to the new differences easily.

What are you like? I'm really bratty, and kind of sarcastic. But I almost never mean the mean/obnoxious/stupid things I say. I enjoy verbal sparring, but only when it's not malicious. I'm kind, smart, gentle, and empethetic. But I don't put up with crap.
I have... issues. So here's a forewarning: I am most definitely, most assuredly not perfect.
I get scared easily by people, except those few who are extremely sure of themselves, and don't bother with masks. Those are the people I'm comfortable around.
I'm also tired as hell of being almost alone in my head. I've only let a couple of other people in, and none of them consistently. It's really hard for me to lower my guard.

Someone extremely dominant, kind of mean, but not in a super over-the-top way. But also someone who would give a shit if I cut myself. Someone protective, but who won't protect me from him. Also: I'm not okay with cheating. I won't do it, and I will expect anyone I'm with to be loyal as well.

And maybe eventually, someone who will be able to tell the difference between my real smile, and the mask. But, also, someone who will be real with me.
