Ooh! How is The Blythes Are Quoted? I must immediately add this book to my TBR unless you give it a thumbs down...

Leslie | 15985 comments I had a very poor reading month in September, so I am not making much of a plan (for me). I will be finishing up the nonfiction The Devil's Highway: A True Story in audiobook.

Additionally, I hope to read:
Jamaica Inn , our group classic
Study of a Woman, part of Balzac's Human Comedy
Beloved or The Bluest Eye or both (I have checked out a Toni Morrison omnibus from the library)
The Radetzky March maybe...

and some mysteries (as those who know me realize, these are my staple genre):
The Templars' Last Secret
Flambé in Armagnac

Nothing Can Rescue Me
Murder Must Advertise {reread}
Love and Death Among the Cheetahs

Leslie | 15985 comments Only a few days since I made my list and I have already gone "off script" and listened to the audiobooks of the final 2 books in the Hitchhiker's Guide series - So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish & Mostly Harmless.

LOVED it! Different from the others of Anne series: it can be seen she has written it later, when more sad, disillusioned, if you see what I mean.
Here my little review:

Finished all those I had intended but Maaza Mengiste The Shadow King, that I don't know when I'll be able of reading!
