He knocks at her door and she answers in a towl not expecting the guest she has to run into her room and put on a tie robe . Another description is they had to get a hotel room and got connecting rooms so no one would know they were together. They get found out and she leaves without telling him. The book is pretty old. Probably 2005-2007 ish and was a paperback sorry thats all I remember from it
