I finished the 1st book in the sequel series of Beyond Gideon's Riders, Ashwin.i have only 2 left but I am waiting for a friend to also finish book 1. I started Minerva Spencer's The Music of Live and it's really good. No idea what I will read next, probably the 2nd in the series.
I'm currently reading and enjoying Naughty Brits
.I'm in between audiobooks at the moment. The Audible Escape Package is finishing up at the beginning of November so I'm trying to cram in a few before it finishes.
I've got One Night Only, Truth or Beard, The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever, and Her Protector's Pleasure to choose from... so far. ;-)
my friend's published her first book! it is out today! so i am jumping in!What Comes After by Blair Leigh
So excited and proud of her!

Just added it. 👍
I'm in deadline mode but also almost fini with a reread of Lisa Kleypas's Ravenels and Challon books. So that meant rereading Devil in Winter for the first time in years and I still loved it (Whew!)

Hope the deadline work is going smoothly. I loved my reread of the Wallflowers, the Hathaways and the Revanels....I liked the books even more then I remembered :D
After the Minerva Spencer book, I read her penname's Victorian Decadence series. It was so hot and so well written, I loved it and now I don;t know how much time I have to wait for book 4 *cries*

Courtney Milan’s book The Duke Who Didnt, which I loved; funny and light and beautifully written.
And Lies and Lullabies by Sarina Bowen which is sort of a blend of two of my favorite books by her (Bountiful and the Accidentals). It was competent and both the hero and heroine were likeable but I didn’t fall in love with it the way I do with some of her books.
If you haven’t read her yet try my favorites and also The Year We Fell Down first and use this as a chaser.

I will definitely check out the Courtney Milan as I have liked her other stuff.
I agree about Lies and Lullabies. I felt that there wasn't enough detail and I wanted to 'see' more of her years of struggling and what she faced because of his abandonment. I loved her brother and felt like he was the star.
It's on my TBR, Lies and Lullabies. Dls I read almost everything she has written, The Year We Fell Down was one of the best books I've read!

I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong, but maybe we will get more of their story in the subsequent two books, even if it's just to touch base.
The Year We Fell Down is one of my all time favorites! I'm kind of loath to read Lies and Lullabies because the next book isn't by Bowen. Maybe later after I'm finished Kleypas-ing.
I'm now on the Hathaways which is staying true to my totally reading out of order habit 😂 Almost finished with the first one and I'd forgotten completely about the ghost element!
