Astrid glanced around her and sighed. She couldn't seem to find anyone except for the daughter of Eros. "Go defend the flag," she said to Margot, who stood with her Stygian iron maces on her hips with the spikes retracted and her feathered bow in hand.

Margot shifted her wait to her right and placed a hand on her hip. "How exactly do you plan on fighting off the other team by yourself?" she asked. "I may have been out of the game for nine months, but that doesn't mean I can't fend for myself."

Astrid raised an eyebrow at her comrade. "I am clearly the better fighter. I have been fighting since I was able to pick up a weapon and my father is a son of Athena and my mother was the first queen of the Amazons." She set her spear down, so that it stood beside her. Her celestial bronze rapier seemed to gleam even more in the the sunlight. She armed to the teeth with knives strapped to her limbs.

Margot smirked. "That's cute," she answered, which threw Astrid off guard. "I learned since I could pick up a weapon also, but I didn't have a dad to teach me. I had to use my wits to survive my early childhood. Then, Chiron took me in and taught me almost everything I know."

"Maybe you should go guard the flag," Margot continued. Astrid rolled her eyes. "I don't need a hundred extra knives to make up for my wit."

Astrid's features contorted and her hand tightened around her spear's shaft for a few seconds. When she composed herself, she glanced at her with the stern grey eyes so common in Athena's descendents. "Just go watch the flag, Margot." Then, she hurried off toward the opposing team's territory.

Margot rolled her eyes. The Amazon reminded her of a pretentious daughter of Nyx with whom she had a childhood rivalry. She was very tempted to chase after her. Rather than following her orders, she raised her bow and nocked an arrow in preparation and stayed in that area. Someone else could stand guard at Zeus' Fist.

Jake snuck through the woods with Emma behind him.

Margot noticed a little movement nearby and flew up into one of the trees with her newly sprouted wings before they disappeared.

Margot watched the ground below with her bow ready to fire.

((I can see this game won't be very interesting.))

When Margot saw a pair of demigods below, she released an arrow at the boy. Quickly, she reached for two arrows and aimed them at the girl. She kept this up for a couple more minutes before reaching for her maces, spikes now out. Then she jumped out of the branches, landing on the boy and knocking him over.

Then, she turned to the girl and swung her mace at her.

((Your character probably shouldn't be able to vapor travel either, now that I think of it. The closest thing is shadow travel, but she isn't a child of Hades.))

Jake rolled aside and kicked the girl off of him. He backflipped onto his feet and shot a net on her, trapping her.

The net fell on both Margot and Emma as Margot continued to hit her with her mace.

"Shoot!" She began cutting the net with one of the points from her arrow.

Margot yelped, but forced herself to keep her grip on the maces. She used the one that had been deflecting it to hit her between her neck and shoulder and push the other deeper into her side.

Margot ran after her, hitting her in the back with one of her maces.

Margot fell down on the ground. She quickly recovered and hit the girl's leg with her other mace.

Margot dodged her blade. She would sigh if she could. It would be so much easier to her seriously hurt her. Then she alternately started swiping or hitting her with her maces.

Margot swung at her sword arm when she deflected the last one and then swept her off her feet again.

Margot put as much force as she could into slamming her mace into the girl's arm.

Then she used her other to pin her leg to the ground.

"Recover from this," growled Margot. Her hazel eyes held a dangerous look to them.

Margot tried to dodge it, but it not far enough because it grazed her stomach. She leapt to her feet after her, shooting arrows.

Jake ran through the woods with the flag. He could see the creek. He poured on the speed and bolted towards it.
