I read this book around five - seven years ago. the plot from what I can remember is set in the 1800s about a girl who leaves her village and goes to this dark mansion with a ton of cruel guards and there is a mean girl there who can shapeshift into a swan and at the end of the book she sees her flying in the sky from a window and she realizes it is her. I think the title is one word starts with either an L or M but it could be any letter. I believe the cover I saw had black, dark purple, and or dark red on it.
