Theres always gonna be problems with the points , and you expect a bit tbh, but some clearly have extra points on nearly every book, and you give up saying anything , my captain is on the ball and if we claim something that no one else does, she gets us to check ..but some just let them get on with it.
I have started doing other challenges in this group thus year ao has been hard doing SH as well so will have to change things next year
I also went down to Poroit in Find the Title this quarter! As for scavenger, this is my first time playing, and I do all my searching at the beginning of the month, but then I also am searching before all the other books I read throughout the month (I have the memory of a fruit fly so it doesn’t spoil anything for me). Although, if I play again I’ll probably do one of the team share options as I’m not as into it this month and got my points from looking at what other teams got for points.
Everything Trio said is definitely true though. I got to the point where I was even noticing SH items in tv shows lol. I have a big problem with cheating, so if I’ve accidentally claimed something, I definitely want it called out, but Janine is right that there are people that will just keep claiming things regardless of what people say 🤷🏻♀️ I think that happens in most challenges though, so I’ve just gotten to the point where as long as I’m honest, I’m okay with it.
That's the beauty of the Bachelor Challenge though, you can't claim something that isn't there, and I still get to do the searching which I really enjoy.
Oh also the book I read last night and finished this morning also works for this task so if anyone wants to take a pass I’ve got you.(Can’t remember if I already said this, my brain is spacey today)

I enjoyed listening to Carter and Levi's story. They are a perfect fit! :) I again was really annoyed with Carter staying in the closet way too long only because of his dysfunctional family and the crap showbiz politics but the ending and Nick Russo's awesome narration compensated for these moments.

I was a smidge disappointed just because the plots been a bit over done and I had hoped LVD would have done something more unique with it.

Review: I really really enjoyed this one! I see it’s compared a lot to another very popular series that I only just liked, and I actually prefer this one! The mystery was pretty easy to figure out (at least who the villain was), but the characters were amazing. A little instalovey for my taste, but it worked, and I’m excited to see where this series goes!

It’s so good! I was worried it’d be a little too much like Adrien and Jake as some reviews said that, and I’m one of like 3 people who thought that series was just okay, but in my opinion it’s so much better!
The Last Sun seriously just gets better and better. I think it’s gonna end up being like a 7 or 8 book series
I'm looking forward to exploring CS Poe - I'd never read anything by them till A Friend in the Dark.My book for this current task is long and intense - I'll do my best to have it for tomorrow. Just a heads up.

Oh my, poor Dylan! Gabe's permanently shifting hot cold hot cold.... attitude was really terrible. And let's not talk about that "Valentine's present"!!
But I nonetheless had a great time listening to this story. Joel Leslie narrated it excellently and I laughed at all the snark and banter and I cried happy tears when Gabe finally opened up and gave their love a chance. :)

Hi Emilienne! 👋 Feeling bored? ;)
I'm just trying to decide if I should sign up for the gangbang challenge. I haven't played the last two quarters but I kind of miss it. Even though I seldom managed to read all the books...... LOL
I love the picking of the books but I always feel sorry when I don't read all the books picked for me.

Nope lol I don't even have enough time for everything's going on 😁
But hey, it's cool to see other faces sometimes. And ideas for new books as well!
You should sign up! I have and it doesn't matter if I do not read all the books. I'm happy to pick for the other players and to read some books waiting in my shelf for ages...

Very intense. Definitely not for folks who would be triggered by descriptions of their child being abducted and abused. Zach's memories and the flashbacks are graphic, but Rowan Speedwell achieves his goal - intense, emotional hurt/comfort story, really well done.

I know there have been some changes made over the past few years, but at this point I just think the Bachelor Challenge is a better fit for me.
