Valerie Griffin | 8 comments Is there a way to have the paperback as my main listing? The ebook image is still not showing up, and I'm having my launch team mark my paperback as "want to read." You have to choose "other editions" but this is not very intuitive. Can we make my paperback the main edition and image?

Paperback: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/rene...

Thanks!

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will show on your author profile. Here's how: https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/3...

For future reference, we cannot use B&N links for book covers or other book data. Please see: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

Valerie Griffin | 8 comments I've done this twice, and the paperback listing says "This book is set to be the primary edition of this work." However, when I search "Valerie Griffin Renew" the book listing that shows up doesn't have a cover. Why is this? It's as though GoodReads is choosing to have one of my ebooks as the main listing (which I've emailed customer service to fix and awaiting their reply).

Thanks for the help!

There is something odd going on with the Kindle edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

On the book page it appears to have the same ISBNs as the paperback edition (which you set as the default), which is probably why it shows up in search.

When I open the Kindle edition's edit page, however, it shows the ASIN and the ISBN fields are not filled in.

Please ask Support specifically to look at this, because I have no idea how to correct it. It seems a system glitch.

It is a bug, the one I reported here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I've reported it to support and I hope they'll manage to fix it

That doesn't seem like the same bug.

In this case, the Kindle edition shows both ISBNs from the paperback. On the edit page, the ASIN shows. If I save, the ASIN shows on the book page. When I search for the book, search shows the link to the Kindle edition and again the ISBNs are visible on the book page.

lethe | 13661 comments The Kindle edition appears to have been merged by staff, probably in reply to another thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... and the problem seems to have been resolved.
