Ari (manilabread) | 25 comments Hey! I'm Ari. I'm available to review! I enjoy reading YA books(contemporary, thriller, urban fantasy etc). I tend to prefer physical copy but an e-book works too. I tend to take around a week or two to review a book.
Thanks!

The ensuing emotional upheaval reveals the true nature of the two men and brings to light dark disturbing secrets which have far reaching consequences. Jeannette Katzir | 21 comments I wanted to know if you’d be interested in reading and reviewing a book I wrote. It’s a frolic involving love/death and lots of laughter.
Rachel’s husband is a cheater, and her friends have the perfect solution for her predicament, kill him without getting caught.
They were referring to a hypothetical contest, of course.

Entries to the contest pour in from friends and complete strangers. Some of the schemes were wacky, and some were so bizarre they made the girls laugh.
However, when Rachel’s husband dies as a result of one of the contest entries, the police investigate her, his former mistress, and a rival for his lover’s sexual favors.
One of the three is arrested for the crime, but did the police get it wrong?
This is the premise of my book, titled: The Contest.
If this blurb has piqued your interest, I will provide you with an e-copy to read and review.

Shana Frost (shanafrost) | 7 comments Hi Ari,

Would you like to read a short murder mystery?

The title of the book is Smokes of Death Beer. It is a murder mystery based in the charming, historic town of Bamberg. You can read it in an hour or so.

Here's the book description:

A town known for its smoked beer. What if this pint is your last?

Nina Banerjee wants to enjoy medieval architecture, history and Rauchbier in the charming town of Bamberg in Bavaria. But when she stumbles upon the dead body of a man she just shared a beer with, things take a turn for the worse.
This quaint town, with its half-timbered houses and touristy attractions, is not all that safe. It’s a playground for criminals, who run riot with murder on their minds.
What will Nina do? Will she sit still as Detective Robert Muller labels her a prime suspect, or will curiosity get the better of her?

Please let me know if you'd like to read and review it! You can also email me at shanafrostauthor@gmail.com

Thank You!

Tenkara Smart | 83 comments Hi Ari,

Would you consider a unique, YA book called She Named Me Wolf?

A boy. A ghost. A life-changing decision.

Wolf lives in constant fear of his unpredictable, alcoholic father. To survive, he relies on his best friend, who happens to be a ghost, as well as the animals in his yard, using his imagination and memories from his past life as a samurai warrior to overcome the odds.

Eventually, Wolf must make a choice to stay in this life or move on, and only his best friend, who happens to be a ghost, can help him make the right decision.

She Named Me Wolf is book one in the series The Many Lives of Wolf and is the first glimpse into one soul’s experience in a physical existence, seeking out the light in the darkness.

Let me know :)

Hi! I have a YA fantasy with magic and a touch of time travel:

Sixty-eight years ago, the Brotherhood of Light came to power. Now, in 2091, Anya lives under the rule of the Lightborn. For years, these men have abused their power, changing the weather and altering animals for their own entertainment. But they’ve taken it too far. The world is dying because of their reckless use of magic. Though they try to hide it, these dark spots on the earth will soon seep out, leaving decay and destruction in their wake. Anya has remained hidden, her power a great secret she holds close. But she knows about the decay and feels a responsibility to do something. When she is captured by the Brotherhood, she is left with no choice but to help them. But her power is greater than they could ever imagine. Will Anya find the help she needs in the future? Can she make it back in time to stop the inevitable?

Shira De Rooij | 13 comments Hi,

I have a contemporary YA story:

All Grace Wilson wants to do is dance ballet.
When auditions for "Swan Lake" begin at her high school, she sees it as a chance to win the role of her dreams. But with dreams come challenges and expectations. Auditioning shines a spotlight on Grace, and suddenly other people notice her existence, like Daniel Night, the guy she's always had a crush on. And like the other students, her competition. she's painfully shy, but if she wants to be cast as Odette, she must overcome her shyness and her fear of being known. They say the last year of high school is the best, but for Grace, it may also be the hardest.

L.A. A Evans (laevans) | 45 comments Hi Ari! You may remember reading Junction: Time’s Ticking? Well, the sequel is out now (Junction: Still Ticking). Would absolutely love it if you considered having a read - let me know if you would like to and what format you’d prefer. Here’s the blurb:

Follow Zoe on her path towards redemption in this sequel to Junction: Time’s Ticking. Find out what makes this self-obsessed, controlling, deceitful woman tick. Why is she so set on destroying Aisha Brown’s new life and so determined to reclaim it as her own?

There are always two sides to every story. What horrors did Zoe encounter on her journey and what nightmares await? Was death her destiny all along or did fate have something far more sinister planned?

A dark insight into her life before and after her world collided with Aisha’s. Many mysteries from Junction: Time’s Ticking will be revealed. Including who or what Aisha saw in the graveyard on that sunny, celebratory summer’s day.

This second thriller in The Junction Trilogy will take you on a chaotic ride. Buckle in and brace yourself for a disturbing insight into the chilling life of Zoe Young.

Watch out for side roads. Don’t let them pass you by.

Please be advised, this book is intended for adults and contains mature content.

- Revolution (The Sol Saga Book 1)
- Sci-Fi Thriller
- War is good for business... And business is about to boom.

General Keith Brennan would rather face an army with his trusty rifle than attend another state dinner. When the President of the solar system is assassinated on Mars, Brennan is the obvious choice to investigate. If he comes up with the wrong answer, though, his career will be over.

However, duty is never so simple. When the investigation uncovers a trail of corruption and a conspiracy on a system-wide scale, Brennan’s career is the least of his worries.

With Earth and Mars on the brink of a shooting war and forces behind the scenes determined to push them over the edge, only Marine General Keith Brennan can stop the slaughter before it’s too late. Unless, of course, it already is…

Revolution is the first in a new gritty sci-fi saga with enemies at every turn. Grab your rifle, pick your side, and join the revolution now!

Matt Galanos | 7 comments Hi Ari,

Dane Thorburn and the City of Lost Souls

It would be great if you could review my new book - Dane Thorburn and the City of Lost Souls, which was released in June 2021.

I released my first book - Dane Thorburn and the Brindabeare Knights in 2019.

An avid reader from a young age, I am inspired to write and share the joy of reading a good book with young people and get them away from gaming consoles, computers and smartphones, and into a good book.

The primary audience for the book is the 10-15 years age-group, although it is suitable for anyone who likes a good fantasy story.

Here is a brief summary:

Dane Thorburn returns in another fast-paced fantasy adventure.

Rewarded for thwarting evil Firelord Raegan’s plan to kill the King and seize power for himself, Dane has joined the elite ranks of Brindabeare’s Royal Knights.

But Raegan’s desire to rule all Valentaland is far from over.

Princess Vanessa is missing – snatched by Raegan’s Black Knights and on her way to the City of Lost Souls, an ancient prison somewhere in the Gargaun Ranges.

Dormant and unused for centuries, the City of Lost Souls is a place from which escape is impossible and death inevitable.

As the frantic search for Vanessa begins, Dane finds himself on trial for aiding her kidnapping.

Can Dane prove his innocence and do anything to save Vanessa before she is lost forever?

I am hoping you could review and post on Goodreads, Amazon, your blog and any other platforms you post your reviews.
