Rusalka (rusalkii) | 17070 comments Spring is sprung!
The grass is whizz
I wonder where the birdy is?
I can answer that one, they are in my lounge room/workspace. I have two hormonal teenage chickens inside the house, two older yelly chickens outside demanding to come in, and a family of rosellas nesting in the roof. I have the birds covered.

All the birds aside it is spring apparently here in the southern hemisphere this month! And I think a lot of you guys in the north would like a spring do-over from our lockdown fantasticness. So let's think springy thoughts as you start cooling down and we start warming up. We're going to think about all the plants.

I rolled some random plants for us to spring up throughout Spring. Here are our list of random 10 plants for this month:

Baby rose – Rosa multiflora
Black maple – Acer nigrum
Garlic root – Alliaria petiolata
Summer lilac – Hesperis matronalis
Goodding willow – Salix gooddingii
Bur oak – Quercus macrocarpa
Orange swallow-wort – Asclepias tuberosa
Virginia silkweed – Asclepias syriaca
Blueberry – Vaccinium (Cyanococcus) spp.
Sweet birch – Betula lenta

We will be reading a book this September that uses one word out of these plants' name or scientific name in it's title.
If it is hyphenated word (swallow-wort) the words can be used separately. If they are compound words (eg. blueberry) they cannot.
< edit >You cannot make hyphenated or compound words from the words in the list above for your title. They have to be as is. You can't combine words from the above in to compound or hyphenated words, and you cannot combine words from this list with other words in to compound or hyphenated words < /edit >

Grow, my pretties!!
