Do you know of any good biographies or autobiographies that are appropriate for children to read?

It doesn't matter if they're fictional stories based on the lives of real people, semi-fictional historical biographies, or completely factual non-fiction biographies or autobiographies. Tell us about them below.

An interesting series on the lives of various important women from history is Laurel A. Rockefeller's "Women Of World History" series.

The first book in the series is Boudicca: Britain's Queen of the Iceni.
