Christian romance novel series following adopted boys

Looking for a book series that followed 6 or 7 boys who were adopted by a Christian family. The father who adopted becomes ill and needs help the boys who are all grown up move back to help sick father. I remember one is an EMT who lost his wife. One opens a restaurant, one is a pro ball player who is injured. Any help would be appreciated. I read this book 3 or 4 years
