Is it good?

I haven't actually read this book, but I have seen the movie and I am reading the second book now. Is it good? What point of view is it in? Is it anything like the movie? I loved the movie, and if I can find the book I definately want to read it, but I just want to be sure.

The book is great, I think even better than the movie. The novel is more detailed and not just a dumb retelling of the script.
