To be a series on Goodreads, books need to have more than a common theme -- like characters in common, an overarching storyline, a shared universe, etc. What makes this a series?

They are all in the same universe with the same paranormal rules, creatures, etc. (which get explained further in each book), and the characters make cameos in each other's books.
