Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Barshardoust was the featured book in the May 2020 box. The theme was "Desert Dreams". Have you read this one?

I have! It was actually the last book I have finished reading (currently reading Forest of souls and The Night Circus). It wasn't my favourite fairyloot book as I really wanted the main character to choose a different path but it still had a lot of empowering moments in it and I gave it a three star rating.
I really enjoyed it, and the complexities of the 'who's the monster' aspect!
I read the first chapter or two of this, before I decided I should read Forest of Souls first and come back to it later. I'm a bit behind in my reading. I really liked the writing style, so I'm excited to get to it.
