right what do people think of the book? have we all read it?
I am so sorry for intruding, but can I join like last minute? I finished Red Queen, and I would love to share opinions.
I like the book and the unique way it handled social issues like discrimination and povertyThe most interesting part for me though was the different powers everyone had. The concept was great and the characters were quite developed but the romance felt a little rushed.

I agree about the romance, liked the twist at the end though, didnt see that coming. Whilst reading it every now and then I kept thinking it was set back when there was no technology but im glad theres a book that introduces modern day theories and issues such as cameras in rooms
the powers element was a nice added touch to the story
I loved this book, and I agree with everyone about the plot twist in the end. Maven (is that his name?)'s change of heart really surprised me. I liked the abilities in this book, no matter how cliché it was, so...
Mare is a very strong character, although I do think the book had some plot holes.
Are we all going to read the second book now?

I have! I read the rest of the series, but it was quite a bit of time ago that I forgot literally everything.
