Spencer Hamilton (spencer_hamilton) | 11 comments Title: The Fear: A Pandemic Horror Novel
Author: Spencer Hamilton
ISBN: 978-1-952075-02-5
Publisher: Nerdy Wordsmith
Publication Date: August 11, 2020
Format: ebook
Page count: 270
Two women quarantined together. A world falling into chaos.

When a virus sweeps across the globe, cities and entire countries shut down overnight. The Fear zooms in on a married couple, Ash and Jack, in one small apartment, growing restless and claustrophobic and paranoid. People are dying in droves. Governments are toppling, imploding, lashing out. Martial law, police states, riots, bioterrorism. No one knows what to believe, who to trust.

As the horror ramps up to apocalyptic levels, Jack is slowly unraveling. She shuts herself away and fears everything. Fears the virus has crawled its way inside, down her throat, into the lining of her stomach. Ash is afraid, too—afraid of what her increasingly erratic wife will do to her.

In a pandemic none of us are ready for, should we fear the outside world . . . or what's waiting within?

Elvenn | 2730 comments I've added the kindle edition ->

I've also added the ebook -> but for the cover we can't use the image from the kindle edition, we need a link to the ISBN 978-1-952075-02-5 ebook's cover from an acceptable source.

Spencer Hamilton (spencer_hamilton) | 11 comments Thank you, Elvenn!

Here is a link from the author's website, as listed in your source, though I'm a little confused by your comment, as your link of acceptable sources does include Amazon, which is the Kindle link I gave you. Regardless, hope this helps!

Spencer Hamilton (spencer_hamilton) | 11 comments Elvenn, I'm not sure why "kindle" and "ebook" need their own listings...? They are both the ebook. Can we please make them one listing, instead of two?

Elvenn | 2730 comments Added! ->

Well, they're different editions of the ebook, so Goodreads distinguishes between the two. The kindle edition is the Amazon ebook, so the edition has an ASIN, a certain number of pages, etc. And when users add the kindle edition they've read, they want to add that exact cover, number of pages, etc. that go with the kindle edition.

The [non Amazon] ebooks have a ISBN, are sold by other sites (like Kobo, for example) and may have a different number of pages, a different cover, a different publication date, etc. Even different extra content, and a number of pages that may vary, etc. The same happens with Nooks and this site also distinguishes between audiobooks (with ISBN) and audible audio editions (with ASIN).

That said, I'm just a volunteer, so if you really want to know about Goodreads' policies, you should visit the Help and the Librarian Manual.

Hi Elvenn, I was wondering if you could help: There are currently two separate listings for The Fear, and I don't know how to combine them so that all three editions are in the same listing.

The main book listing is here:

The errant one that needs to be added to the main one is here:

Please use the title that is listed on Amazon: THE FEAR: A Pandemic Horror Novel

Thank you! Let me know if this isn't the right forum to fix that.
