Calvey | 107 comments Anyone DM / play RP table top game? I'm just learning and did a couple Dnd on roll20, but groups broke up quickly. Looking to learn more about playing. It can be discord too. LooKing for friendly, casual and mature game. I would probably prefer SciFi, but would play Fantasy.

I'm in the same boat. West Coast US. Used to casual TTRPG, like, 30 years ago. Got in a DnD5e Discord text game, two players dropped after two sessions, so the DM gave up.

Aaron | 268 comments Finding the right group can be challenging and not all of us are cut out for online play. All you can do is keep trying. If you have friends who want to play, that's usually easiest.

Your local game store (assuming you have one) may know of or have a board for those looking for groups and will likely return to hosting game nights when it's safe to gather again.

Roll20 is just one of many options for finding groups.
