Aoa! Have you started reading? How far? I'm around 112 pages, the pace is quite low now, and yes please koi mujhe yeh khandaan ka family tree samjahye, I'm quite confused.

maine abhi shuru nahi ki. inshaAllah ab. most reviewers do find the subject matter quite dark/melancholic.
Yea, they're not wrong when they say so, that subject is like that only, still it's not that depressing like razia butt's "bano", well I haven't yet finished so it's bit early to label anything. p.s. Agar nahi hui hai toh me kuch bhi reveal nahi karugi, qki questions hai mere mind me bohot sare. Aap khatam karle phir discuss karte hai InshaAllah!
P.s. agle mahine koi light aur contemporary lege na, plz di, wese bhi hum busy hojayege toh behtar ki koi halki phulki kitaab le.

mazhabi themes ya (social/moral) change k baare main parh kar acha lagta hai. jaisa k aapne woh kitaab recommend ki thi “mushaf.” abhi parhi nahi hai par description parh kar acha laga tha. warna im not too picky.
'Namal' is my recommendation for next month, all the social and moral and so many small small messages are hidden in this novel, with mystery plus some tadabur on quranic verses in between. Overall a beautiful read.
Don't mind it's length, once you start reading it, you won't feel like putting down.
