Chapter 10 - (view spoiler)[The battle at the beginning was a bit too long and I find this book too action-packed. I don't care about the characters so I'm not invested in what's going on. So far there hasn't really been any character development / world building or not enough. I had to reread the synopsis to figure out what the plot was going to be. (hide spoiler)]

Finished - (view spoiler)[Blaaaaah. How can an action-packed book be so boring? I wanted to quit so many times since I didn't care at all for anyone. I liked that she was already married but come on give us something to make us care or it just feels lazy. And by the end they didn't even reunite. I'm over it & I'm glad I'm done with it. I'm really bummed that this ended with Zala and Jilani NOT reuniting, plus 2 people died and a pirate got captured. Sigh (hide spoiler)]
