Hazel nodded as her teeth chattered. "Let's go. I need the warmth of those leaves desperately."

Ry nodded, searching their area until he found a sturdy oak. "This one seems good," He said. "One of us should stay on the ground to watch, someone else in another tree."
Braylen wakes up again, his strategy was to just sleep through everything, and wait to be killed in his sleep. He goes to a secluded part of the stream, grabs some water, drinking it but growing really cold. He grabs some more of those black-berries before falling asleep again.

"I can keep watch, if you want," Alice offered.(sorry for talking when you asked Hazel a question! :) :))
Alice smiled, and pulled herself to her feet. "Let's go," she said, offering her hands to the others to help them up.
Braylen crawls out of his hiding spot, surprised he hadn't been killed yet. Every day he just drank the water from the stream and continuously ate the blackberries since he knew those weren't poisonous. And then he would just sit there and wait out the day until night came and he would fall asleep. He wondered when someone would eventually kill him, he knew a few tributes were already dead.
Alice stood with her back against the giant tree, staring into the forest. She was alert and on edge, but at the same time exhausted and weary. Her back was damp from the bark of the tree, and she stared off into the trees, unnerved by the eerie silence.
"Alice?" whispered Lyssandra. "Goodnight. I really hope we'll all be all right," she added, even though she knew even as she said it, that it was impossible.
Ry climbed up into the tree, lying back. He'd sleep, but lightly - that had been part of his training too. Sleeping lightly and waking up completely alert.
Braylen does the same thing he does every day. He grabs berries and water from the stream, downing it all quickly and then continuing to just sit there...
Hazel's eyes scanned the surroundings for any threats. Grabbing her knife, she atood firmly below her allies, determined to keep them safe. Sure, she might die soon but at least she could do that much for them while she was alive.
Alice smiled up at Lysa. "Thanks, Lysa, I hope so too. Goodnight." She could hear Hazel breathing on the other side of the tree, and stood alert and ready to protect her friends.
The Capitol anthem sounded and the sky lit up with the faces of the dead tributes. There were five. Five. Already, five children were dead.
Ry woke up at the anthem, examining the faces in the sky. His first reaction was...emotionlessness. Five less people to kill. Five less people to stand in his way. But then he felt guilt, which disoriented him. He had never realized what the Games would be like - only that he'd be the Victor.
Braylen was still registering the death of five other Tributes. He wonders how he'd stayed alive for so long as he eats his berries and drinks the water.
(I hope no one minds if I write it. Sorry it's a bit long.)Alice heard a soft thud on the other side of the tree. She ran around and there was Hazel, on the ground, shivering, trembling as if she was in the middle of a snowstorm, not a humid forest. Her eyes were glazed, and her head whipped to and fro, as if seeing someone or something that wasn't there. Alice screamed, tears pouring from her eyes. She heard scrambling sounds as Ry and Lysa came down from the tree. She fell on her knees next to Hazel and tried to comfort her, holding her still and frantically yelling at the others to pass her a bag, pass her some medicine from a backpack. "Chuck out the water!!!" she said. She had known Hazel for not even a week, she could not die now. "No! Hazel come on, stay with us!" she could barely see for the tears, and her hands were shaking like mad. She set Hazel against the tree and held her still. "Guys, medicine, come on, do we have anything?!?!" But it was too late. Alice felt her go slack, and when she turned around Hazel lay against the tree, eyes closed, completely still. "No!" she screamed. It must be a dream, it must. But she heard the cannon fire. Hazel was dead.
Braylen hears the cannon fire of two more tributes. He is still surprised it isn't him. He sighs and crawls out of his little cave again. He wonders how they died, hopefully, this would all end soon and that he would have a quick death if he were to die. No long prolonged thing. That was his wish every night to the stars. He grabbed some more berries and munched on them, looking up at the sky.

Lyssandra sat in the shade of the tree for - what was it? Hours? Days? Time made no impression on her any longer. There was no point in getting up, no point in continuing. Hazel was the lone, warm ray of sunshine that penatrated the darkness that was Lysa's world like nothing and no one else had. Without Hazel, everything was an endless pool of shadow.
Alice sat beside Lysa, in the same state of stupor. Hazel was gone. She was still in shock, she couldn't believe it. Gone, into her life for barely a minute and then disappeared again.
"Should... Shall we go on, then?" asked Lysa. "I can't stand being here in this accursed forest any longer."
"Yeah, I agree," Alice said reluctantly. She tried to push the thought of Hazel to the back of her mind, focusing on the here and now. She pulled herself to her feet and held out her hand to help Lysa up. "Let's just stay sheltered for the night, and then move tomorrow."
"I have no idea," Alice said, looking worriedly down at her feet. "We'll find somewhere." And she began to climb the tree closest to her.
"Be careful!'' called Lyssandra. "What do you see? I think Hazel said there is a cave somewhere. Maybe we can go there?"
