Amber took a deep breath. She closed her eyes and wish they would just hurry up. If she was picked, she'd probably be the first to die. 'Its not like I have friends or family, Im totaly fine with dying'
She laughed. The people around her looked at her weird.
Blayke waited calmly for the names to be called. When the fancy capitol announcer walked up to the podium and called out his name, he smiled and winked towards the camera. He strutted to center stage and blew out a kiss to the audience. Better to keep a straight face than to melt into the puddle of worry he would become as soon as he was alone. As far as Blayke was concerned, the games had already begun.

Amber heard her name called. She took a deep breath and walked up onto the stage slowly. She stared at her shoes trying to hold back tears. She takes another deep breath and looks out to the audience managing a small smile. She looks over at the boy who got picked. She noticed he looked confident and not at all shy or worried. Amber tried to look calm, cool, and colected but you could tell she was scared. She started trembling and her chin started to quiver. 'So this is it' She thaught. 'Im dead now, might as well just not even try to survive'
